Once upon a time …
From the 1940s to the 1970s: It all began around the 1940s at the EMILY family farm located at “Le Québou” in Pencran. In the 1950s, mechanization develops and the horses are replaced by the first tractors.
Joseph EMILY has 4 children :
Jean-Yves, the eldest of the boys, will take over his father-in-law’s business: the Rolland trailers.
Michel, the second son, also prefers mechanics at school. At the age of 15, he joins his father as an apprentice in agricultural mechanics.
During 5 years, Michel EMILY worked with his father. As a tractor dealer agent, he also sells and repairs equipment in Pencran and surroundings.
In 1974, the EMILY company was created in Pencran.
